Those traveling in the train will now get a chance to buy food of their choice and from their favorite shop. Actually, food delivery service app Swiggy will deliver to those traveling in Indian Railways. Has partnered with Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC). The purpose of this partnership is to deliver food to the passengers. For this one will have to take help of a portal. Let us know about it.

Swiggy facility will be available at these stations
This facility will be started soon at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam railway stations. IRCTC had announced this in its exchange filing yesterday.

IRCTC has signed an agreement with Bundl Technologies Pvt. Ltd. For supply and delivery of pre-ordered food through IRCTC e-Catering portal as POC (Proof of Concept) in the first phase of this agreement.

How to order?
Passengers who book tickets online through IRCTC can easily order food while traveling by train by entering their PNR number through the IRCTC e-categorizing portal. During this time, passengers can enter the name of the restaurant, food or even order food from any of their favorite restaurants in the same app. Passengers can also pay for food online or cash on delivery.
