Participated in the story on the life of Adi Shankaracharya in ‘Ekatma Dham’ Prayagraj: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Deora

Bhopal:  Madhya Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Jagdish Deora attended the second day of ‘Shankaro Lokshankar:’ Katha focusing on Acharya Shankar’s life philosophy at Ekatma Dham Mandapam, Prayagraj Mahakumbh area, established by Acharya Shankar Sanskritik Ekta Nyas, Department of Culture, Government of Madhya Pradesh. He observed the Advaita Lok, book exhibition displayed by the Trust and laid flowers. The story will be held till February 12 every day from 04 pm.

Talking about Acharya Shankar’s philosophy and self-study, Pujya Shri Govind Giri Ji Maharaj said that the person who gives importance to sadhana, gradually divine qualities start developing in him. Adiguru Shankaracharya did not teach us small things like going to Vaikuntha, he taught us the process of seeing Vaikuntha within ourselves. You will not find pure Vedanta like Shrimad Bhagwat anywhere else, it is complete in itself.

On the second day of the Katha, events like Acharya Shankar’s renunciation, journey from Kaladi to Omkareshwar, search for Guru, composition of Narmadashtakam and arrival in Kashi from Omkareshwar etc. were mentioned.

ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan also reached the Ekatma Dham camp. He visited the Advaita Lok Exhibition and offered floral tribute to the statue. Praising the Ekatma Dham project of the Madhya Pradesh government, he said, “The work that the Madhya Pradesh government is doing is truly praiseworthy.

Swamini Sadvidyananda Saraswati on Mandukyopanishad and Swami Yogpratap Saraswati addressed the youth in the meditation session.
