Paris Olympics: Deepika lost in the last-8 match
Today, India will want to win the fourth medal in Paris Olympics. All eyes will be on Manu Bhaker. In boxing, Nishant Dev will play in the quarter-finals. Indian shooter Anantjeet Singh Naruka failed to make it to the finals of the men’s skeet event of the Paris Olympics, performing disappointingly on the second day of qualification. Anantjeet finished 24th out of 30 shooters by scoring a total of 116 points with 23, 22, 23, 24, 24 points in five series of 25-25 shots. The top six shooters made it to the finals.

Despite taking the lead in the last eight matches, Deepika had to face defeat. Deepika won the first set 28-26, while Korea’s Soo Yeon defeated Deepika 28-25 in the second set. After this, Deepika won the third set by a margin of 29-28, while Soo Yeon again made a comeback in the fourth set and won the set 29-27 to level the score at 4-4.

Deepika fell behind in the deciding set and Soo Yeon won the set 29-27 and defeated Deepika by a margin of 6-4. Thus, Deepika’s journey ended in the quarter finals itself.
