Our Madhya Pradesh is rich in tourism diversity: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

To promote tourism in Sarsi Island, it will be connected to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and Sanjay National Park. Water tourism will be promoted in Bansagar Dam. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurated Sarsi Tourism Center and Resort.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that our Madhya Pradesh tourism is full of diversity. Seeing Sarsi Island in Rewanchal gives the feeling of Goa and Andaman Nicobar. Our Madhya Pradesh tourism is full of diversity and various specialties, the state’s tourism attracts people from all over the world. Madhya Pradesh is constantly moving on the path of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On the completion of one year of the state government, Jan Kalyan Parv is being celebrated in the state. New dimensions of development are being created every day in it. New beginnings are being made every day in Jan Kalyan Parv. Sarsi Island has been beautifully developed in 5 hectares in the island of Ban Sagar by the Tourism Development Corporation at a cost of Rs 29 crore. This will give a new dimension to the tourism of the state. State Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration ceremony of Sarsi Island located in Ban Sagar Dam in Shahdol district. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister  Rajendra Shukla, Minister of State for Tourism and Religious Affairs (Independent Charge) Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, Byawari MLA Sharad Kol, District Panchayat President Prabha Mishra were specially present. Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Dr. Ilaiya Raja T welcomed the guests. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that to promote tourism in Sarsi Island, it will be connected to Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and Sanjay National Park. Water tourism will also be promoted in Bansagar Dam. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav met Vindhya region’s child artist (singer) Ms. Manya Pandey and enquired about her well-being. He also announced a reward of Rs. 51,000 for Manya. He also played cymbals and kartal with tribal folk artists who had come to Sarsi Island. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also announced a reward of Rs. 5,000 each for each member of the music troupes.

Observation of tourism facilities in Sarsi Island Chief Minister Dr. Yadav observed the facilities made for tourists in Sarsi Island. Tourist Facilitation Center, 3 Boat Clubs, 10 Residential Rooms, Restaurant and Bar, Conference Hall, Gym, Library, Children’s Play Area and other sports facilities like badminton, table tennis, star grabbing, sand volleyball, cycling etc., landscaping and garden development, 40 kilowatt capacity solar system have been installed in the island. Sarsi Island has been connected to Markandeya Ghat District Maihar and Itma Ghat District Umaria. Boat Club and Jetty 4 speed boats, one jet ski, mini cruise, driver dormitory, parking, cafeteria and public facilities have been developed. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appreciated the efforts of Tourism Development Corporation by observing a short film centered on Sarsi Island. The Chief Minister also released a brochure based on Sarsi Island. Chief Minister did boating Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the Boat Club at Sarsi Island and also went boating. Prize winners of the boating competition organized by the Tourism Development Corporation were awarded. Chief Minister met tribal artists and child artists On the occasion of the inauguration of Sarsi Island, during the performance of tribal artists of village Birhuliya invited by Tourism Development Corporation, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was present and encouraged them and also played cymbals with them. Manya Pandey of Vindhya region presented the song – “CM decorates Vindhya, everyone likes our CM, everyone lives in peace and happiness.”
