Our investment policy is the best in the country, set up as many industries as you want, the government is with you: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is a state of infinite possibilities. Madhya Pradesh’s central position in the country makes it even more special. The new investment policy that our government has made for the industrial development of M.P. is the best in the country. You can set up as many industries as you want, the government is with you every moment, every step. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this during a discussion with micro, small and medium enterprises and other industrialists from the Chief Minister’s residence complex on Friday. He said that investors setting up industries in Madhya Pradesh have always been profitable. You can set up industries of your choice and earn profits. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav transferred financial incentives of more than Rs. 450 crore to more than 1100 industrial units through DBT in a transparent manner.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that investors from Madhya Pradesh and Bhopal should not only invest without hesitation, but also host the Global Investors Summit being held in Bhopal on 24-25 February. He said that GIS is a global gathering being held in Bhopal and this is going to be a very historic occasion. The investors coming here from the country and abroad are our guests. There should be no shortage in welcoming them, whoever comes to Bhopal should go with a good memory.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh ranks 7th in the country in the MSME sector. This is the most emerging sector of the state. Therefore, we have decided that the establishment of new industries related to all types of products will be encouraged in the state. Along with this, necessary help will also be provided to the old industries currently running. If the old industries require it, then on demand, arrangements will also be made to supply electricity to them through renewable energy.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that every single penny of the government’s budget will be spent on the overall welfare of the public and industrial development of the state. He said that we are moving towards taking the government’s budget to Rs 4 lakh crore in the new financial year. Our government is committed to providing all necessary help and encouragement to the industries. Our government has always followed its promise and will continue to do so. He said that in the new investment policy, our government is going to make a provision to give 10 percent additional discount to women entrepreneurs. The government will give discount to a certain extent to industrialists in preparing multi-story industrial complexes. We are also going to make residential space in industrial complexes permissible. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our government will also give discount to a reasonable extent in interest on industry loans. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav interacted face to face with all the industrialists and said that the GIS being held in Bhopal will prove to be a milestone in the industrial development of Madhya Pradesh, everyone’s cooperation and participation is necessary for its success.

Sports and Youth Welfare and Cooperative Minister Shri Vishwas Kailash Sarang said that through Regional Industry Conclave we have moved towards integrated development of Madhya Pradesh. Our connectivity with all the regions of the country, its eco-system, its climate is the best. GIS is a great opportunity for Bhopal. Expressing gratitude towards Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for organizing GIS in Bhopal, he told the industrialists that investment is the biggest basis of prosperity of any state. Invest and become a partner in giving global recognition to Madhya Pradesh by making GIS a success.

Minister in charge of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Bhopal District, Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap said that our government has encouraged industrialists and investors at every level to ensure maximum export of products from Madhya Pradesh. It is easy to transport raw material and manufactured products from Madhya Pradesh to any corner of the country, yet as an incentive, our government is giving more than 50 percent subsidy on freight charges to industries. New industries are always welcome here. He said that we are also working towards strengthening the old industries by giving them additional help.

Principal Secretary Industrial Investment and Promotion Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh, while giving information about the coordinated framework of GIS being held in Bhopal, invited investors and industrialists to participate in it. He said that GIS will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Shri Modi will digitally launch all the new industrial, investment and other policies of Madhya Pradesh from the platform of GIS. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will be present in its closing session. Representatives from more than 60 countries will attend GIS. It will also have departmental conferences, diaspora conferences, country sessions, thematic sessions and other activities on various subjects. He urged all industrialists to actively participate in GIS and take advantage of this historic opportunity. Secretary Mrs. Priyanka Das expressed gratitude. On this occasion, other departmental officers including Shri Dilip Kumar and a large number of industrialists were present.

Chief Minister held discussions with industrialists

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav had a cordial discussion with the industrialists present in the program. Shri Radhasharan Goswami of Industry Association said that in the last one year our faith in the policies of the government has increased. Appreciating the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, he said that the growth rate of Madhya Pradesh is going to grow at the rate of 30 percent, this will increase employment in the state and bring prosperity. Shri Atit Agarwal of Laghu Udyog Bharati said that the Regional Industry Conclave has created a wonderful and unimaginable industrial environment in Madhya Pradesh. Very pleasant results of GIS are going to come. Shri Vikram Gaur of Govindpura Industrial Area Organization said that the new investment policy prepared by the government is beneficial for everyone. He thanked the Chief Minister for preparing such a good investment policy in the interest of industrialists. He said that this is an energetic policy of an energetic leadership. State President of DICCI Shri Anil Sirvaiya said that the new investment policy of the government reflects the integrated development of the state. The innovative efforts of the government for the industrial development of Madhya Pradesh are undoubtedly commendable. Representative of Mawe and Laghu Udyog Bharati, Mrs. Renu Nayak, demanded from the Chief Minister to make more encouraging provisions for women entrepreneurs and to develop multi-story industrial areas. She expressed hope that GIS will bring very positive results in the interest of the state.

Chief Minister released the coffee table book

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also released a coffee table book based on the specialties of Bhopal by ‘Bhopal Ek Saath Team’ in the program. He praised the team for the coffee table book prepared in view of the GIS being done in Bhopal. The team that prepared the coffee table book welcomed and honored Chief Minister Dr. Yadav by presenting him with a shawl.
