Orry’s Party at Vaishno Devi: A Controversial Trip Turns Ugly

Bollywood influencer Orry, also known as Orhan Awatramani, is facing a serious backlash after a recent incident at the Vaishno Devi base camp in Katra, Jammu and Kashmir. It seems his trip to the holy site took a turn for the worse, and now he’s facing legal action.

A Party at a Sacred Place?
Orry and a group of his friends were spotted partying and drinking alcohol at the Katra Marriott Resort and Spa on March 15th. A photo of the gathering made its way online, and the hotel management wasn’t happy about it. They had already warned Orry and his crew that alcohol and non-vegetarian food were strictly off-limits in the cottage suite, considering the sacred nature of the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. His friends included Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritik Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and Anastasia Arjamaskin. The Katra police responded by filing an FIR (First Information Report) under number 72/25, accusing Orry and his friends of violating the district magistrate’s orders and showing disrespect to religious sentiments. The case is based on Section 223 of the Indian Penal Code.

A Legal Storm Brews
A special team has been assembled to investigate the matter, led by the SP Katra, DSP Katra, and SHO Katra. Notices will be sent to Orry and his friends, asking them to cooperate with the investigation. Opposition leader Sunil Sharma has strongly condemned the incident, expressing his disappointment that a Bollywood figure would disrespect religious sentiments at a site held sacred by millions. He’s calling for strict action against everyone involved, saying that consuming alcohol and non-vegetarian food at such a holy place is completely unacceptable.
