Oppo Launches F29 Series: A New Era of Smartphones in India

On March 20, 2025, Oppo unveiled its latest smartphones in the F29 Series in India, introducing the Oppo F29 5G and Oppo F29 Pro 5G. These devices come packed with impressive features, including a massive 6500mAh battery and a 50MP primary rear camera, making them a strong contender in the smartphone market. The F29 offers 8GB of RAM, while the F29 Pro takes it a step further with options of up to 12GB of RAM. Both models are equipped with AI LinkBoost Technology and Hunter Antenna Architecture, enhancing connectivity and performance.

Pricing and Availability – The Oppo F29 5G is available in two variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage: Priced at ₹23,999 , 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage: Priced at ₹25,999Pre-orders for the F29 5G are open on the Oppo India e-store, with sales starting on March 27. Customers can choose from Glacier Blue and Solid Purple colors.

For the Oppo F29 Pro 5G, the pricing is as follows: 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage: ₹27,999, 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage: ₹29,999, 12GB RAM + 256GB Storage: ₹31,999. This model will be available for pre-order as well, with sales commencing on April 1. Color options include Black and White.

Display and Performance – Both the Oppo F29 5G and F29 Pro 5G feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,412 pixels. The display boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring smooth visuals. With a brightness of up to 1200 nits, the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the standard variant uses Gorilla Glass 7i. The standard F29 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, while the Pro variant features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy processor. Both models run on Android 15 with ColorOS 15.0.

Camera Features – Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP primary rear camera on both models, complemented by a 2MP secondary sensor. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP front camera.
