Kedarnath Heli Service 2025: Booking Starts Today for May 2–31 Booking for helicopter services to Kedarnath Dham has officially started from today. The current window is open for trips scheduled between May 2 and May 31, and dates for later bookings will be announced separately. IRCTC’s official portal is now live for reservations. Helicopter services will operate from Guptkashi, Sirsi, and Phata helipads to Kedarnath. To book your tickets, you’ll need to visit heliyatra.irctc.co.in. There’s already a huge buzz and excitement among devotees for this year’s Kedarnath Yatra, and online registrations for the pilgrimage are in full swing. Now with helicopter bookings open too, preparations are picking up pace. The Kedarnath temple gates will open on May 2, and from that very day, heli services from Guptkashi, Sirsi, and Phata will also begin. IRCTC has made its portal live for booking heli tickets. Note: You must be registered for the yatra to book heli tickets. Both Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) and IRCTC have completed all arrangements for the service.

As per the updates, this year’s heli services will be operated by multiple companies including Pawan Hans, Himalayan Heli, Trans Bharat, Global Vectra, Thambi Aviation, Kestrel Aviation, and Aero Aircraft. As per their three-year contracts, there’s been a 5% hike in fare this time. The Char Dham Yatra is kicking off from April 30, with the gates of Gangotri and Yamunotri opening on that day. Kedarnath will open on May 2, followed by Badrinath on May 4. Since the Kedarnath trek is long and quite challenging, many pilgrims opt for helicopter rides, which usually see a huge rush. Because of the heavy demand, cybercriminals also become active during this period. To tackle this, police have ramped up their monitoring. A dedicated four-member cyber team has been formed to stop online frauds, which will be supervised by Cyber Cell CO Ankush Mishra. It’s important to note that some scammers cheat people by selling fake heli tickets, often conning them out of large sums of money. To prevent this, the government has assigned IRCTC as the only authorized ticketing platform. So make sure to book your tickets only through the official website: www.heliyatra.irctc.co.in
