One tree in the name of mother: Deputy Chief Minister Sao planted a tree in honor of his mother
Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw planted a tree in the Government Higher Secondary School Dongaria of Lormi development block of Mungeli district. He planted a Peepal tree in honor of his mother Pramila Devi by performing Puja-Archana in the massive tree plantation program organized under the ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother’ campaign.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Saw, while addressing the program organized on this occasion, said that ‘One Tree in the Name of Mother’ is a campaign run by the country’s successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The most sacred relationship is that of a mother. Mother nurtures children by enduring hardships. Therefore, while paying respect to the service and dedication of the mother, we all must plant a tree in her name. She should be served and protected like parents.
Shri Saw said that taking a step towards the tree plantation campaign, fruit plants of different species are being planted in 10 acres of area in Dongaria today. Today, our government is working with full sensitivity and promptness to fulfill the promises made to the common people, farmers and other beneficiaries as per Modi’s guarantee. The money for the schemes is reaching the accounts of the beneficiaries.
During his address, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Saw announced to build a Kisan Kutir at a cost of Rs 14 lakh for the farmers to sit in the Agriculture Collection Center of Dongaria and a warehouse at a cost of Rs 12.5 lakh in the dependent village Kodwamahant. He also announced to give five lakh rupees for the construction of a stage in the Dongaria school premises and to build an anicut in the village soon.
In the program, IDBI Bank presented 560 tree guards for the protection of plants under CSR. In the program, students who performed excellently in various activities in Dongaria school were also honored. Mungeli Collector Rahul Dev, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Prabhakar Pandey and Dongaria Sarpanch Mahant Harishankar Das, along with local public representatives, eminent citizens and school students were present in large numbers at the programme.
