On the occasion of 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Ahilyabai, a women empowerment conference will be held in Bhopal on May 31: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: The meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in the Secretariat on Tuesday began with the singing of Vande Mataram. In the meeting of the Council of Ministers, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and all the members of the cabinet started the meeting by garlanding and offering flowers to the statue of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Mata. All the members present raised slogans of ‘Lokmata Ahilyabai Amar Rahe’. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and all the ministers also released a drama booklet titled ‘Ahilya Rupen Sansthita’ written by writer Ms. Sadhana Balvate. This drama booklet is based on the major events of Devi Ahilya Bai’s life. The Chief Minister congratulated the writer and said that you have paid true tribute to Lokmata.

Addressing the ministers before the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a state-wide campaign is being run on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. Under this, various types of activities are being done in the state from 26 to 31 May. He said that on May 26, while honoring the mother power, he took information about the management of Lijjat Papad from the sisters in Jabalpur. He also met Gyaneshwari Devi of Jabalpur. On May 27, Ahilya Mata was remembered under the Jan Kalyani festival. Painting, essay and speech competitions were organized on the life and philosophy of Devi Ahilyabai in the entire state.

On May 28, various activities will be conducted by organizing a state-level women entrepreneurship fair in Betul by celebrating Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Leadership Day under Raajnasheel Ladli. On May 29, under Arogyamayi Nari, a women’s health camp will be organized in Chhattarpur under Women’s Health and Welfare Day. On May 30, special women’s health camps will be organized at the district and block level. On the same day, under the Ahilya Vahini program on the theme of Self-reliant Women-Empowered Nation, a dialogue with the state’s prominent women players and girls will be organized and a women’s bike rally will be organized in the entire state.

In the same sequence, on 31st May, on the occasion of 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai, a Women Empowerment Maha Sammelan will be organized in the dignified presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at Jamboori Maidan, Bhopal. About 2 lakh women entrepreneurs, workers, women self-help groups, Ladli sisters will participate in this Maha Sammelan. He informed that from this conference, Prime Minister Shri Modi will virtually inaugurate the metro train service in Indore and new airports in Satna and Datia, as well as perform virtual Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of a ghat on the Kshipra river in Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed the ministers in charge of Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Rajgarh, Dewas, Sagar, Betul, Harda, Narsinghpur, Shajapur districts to make special arrangements and all necessary preparations for the success of the program. He informed that this women’s conference will be completely focused on women empowerment. In this, from stage management to management, security and all other arrangements will be done by women only. The Prime Minister will be welcomed and honoured by renowned women who have excelled in their fields. He informed that during the inauguration of the metro train service in Indore and airports in Datia and Satna, the Union Minister and Union Minister of State of the concerned departments, along with the departmental minister of the state government, the minister in charge of that district and the local minister will also be present at the venue.

The cabinet meeting will be held in Pachmarhi on June 3

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the ministers that the next meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held in Pachmarhi on June 3. This meeting will be held in honor of Raja Bhabhut Singh of Pachmarhi region. Giving information about Raja Bhabhut Singh, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that he was a brave king. He fought the British from inside the forest and protected his people, subjects and forests from the British for two and a half years. It is a matter of great pride for our government to hold a cabinet meeting in Pachmarhi in his memory.

At the Agriculture Industry Meet held in NarsinghpurInvestment proposals worth Rs 4,736 crore received

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the ministers that Krishi Udyog Sammelan-2025, held in the dignified presence of Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar in Narsinghpur on May 26, was an unprecedented success. Senior officials/officials of more than 500 industries participated in the Krishi Udyog Sammelan for agro-processing and food processing. He informed that the state government received investment proposals worth Rs 4,736 crore in this Krishi Udyog Sammelan, which will provide new employment opportunities to more than 6100 people.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a meeting of NITI Aayog was held in New Delhi on 24th May under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. In the meeting, Prime Minister Shri Modi has expressed the expectation from the states that in order to achieve the goal of Developed India 2047, a vision document of the state should be prepared and work should be done in that direction. Developed Madhya Pradesh 2047 Vision Document has been prepared. At least one global standard tourist destination should be developed in the state to attract international tourists and boost the local economy. An investment friendly charter should be prepared to attract investment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told all the ministers to prepare their respective departmental outlines and take action on the basis of this vision document of Prime Minister Shri Modi. He told that in the meeting of NITI Aayog, industrial development, tourism development activities, new investments and innovations taking place in Madhya Pradesh were discussed. He informed that in view of the success of National River Linking Project in Madhya Pradesh, NITI Aayog has suggested working towards creating a river grid at the state level (linking rivers within the state) to ensure effective use of water resources.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that NITI Aayog has asked to work towards sustainable urban development and planned and systematic urban planning in tier-2 and tier-3 cities of the state. NITI Aayog has suggested that emphasis should be laid on providing skills and training to the youth in emerging areas, so that new employment opportunities are created. Similarly, work should also be done rapidly in the direction of women empowerment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government will move forward in the direction of implementing all the suggestions of NITI Aayog.

ICAR activities will be held from 29 May to 12 June

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed the ministers that from 29 May to 12 June, the Central Government is running an agriculture awareness program in 723 districts of the country through the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). In this, four senior scientists of ICAR will visit each district and will give information and advice to the farmers about doing advanced agriculture including natural farming, organic farming and horticulture according to their agro-climatic zone by testing the climate, water and soil. He said that during the ICAR program, the minister in charge of the concerned district and the officials of the agriculture department will be present in the program and will also provide all necessary support to ICAR.

Progressive feedback received from the cabinet meeting held in Indore

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government has received a very progressive feedback from the cabinet meeting held in Indore on May 20 in honour of Lokmata Ahilyadevi. The cabinet has approved many public welfare decisions and development works here. A good response has been received from the citizens and saints of the state regarding this.

There will be three events in the month of June

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the ministers that three programs will be organized in the month of June. In this, on the occasion of World Environment Day and Ganga Dashami on June 5, water conservation programs will be organized in every district of the state under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. By celebrating International Yoga Day on June 21, the message of healthy body through yoga will be spread to the people. In the same sequence, the difficulties of that period will be remembered as Emergency Day on June 25.
