Olympics begin with a colourful programme on the Seine river

Breaking away from the usual tradition, players from 205 countries took part in the parade of nations on boats on the Seine river amid the possibility of rain and with this the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games began in this city of lights. During this colourful programme, famous artist Lady Gaga and others performed. First came the Greek team and then players from other countries kept greeting the audience during the boat parade.
