On this initiative of the Chief Minister, in March, Aagadih airstrip of Jashpur was approved for 3 CG Air NCC Squadron and a microlight aircraft was sent to Jashpur for training. During this, about 100 cadets were given real flying experience. Chief Minister Sai himself reached the airstrip and inspected the training program and interacted with the cadets. The cadets also shared technical information related to the aircraft with him.
Better employment opportunities for trained cadets- At present, 3 CG Air NCC Air Squadron is the only air squadron in the whole country in which AIIMS, MBBS and Nursing students are associated as cadets. There are 10 percent vacancies in all courses including Air Force flight training courses. For which AFCAT, UPSC examination is not required. Similarly, 2 to 10 bonus marks are given in paramilitary force recruitment. In many industries also, preference is given in jobs on the basis of NCC C certificate.
