Bhopal. NITI Aayog team has assured to make coordinated efforts by the Central and State Government to further encourage the units manufacturing agricultural equipment in Vidisha and to make skilled workers available in Bhopal. NITI Aayog team visited many MSME units in Vidisha and Bhopal.
NITI Aayog team visited Vidisha’s ODOP unit M/s Usha Agro along with the officials of Vidisha’s District Trade and Industry Center. The team visited various agricultural equipment manufactured by M/s Usha Agro. Detailed discussions were held with the proprietor Mr. Manas Gupta regarding the development of OD-OP products and increase in exports. NITI Aayog suggested to the officials of the MSME department that with “One District-One Product”, efforts should also be made to give Vidisha a unique identity as an agricultural equipment industry hub.
NITI Aayog team also inspected the industrial unit of women entrepreneur M/s Paridhi Industries in Govindpura Industrial Area, Bhopal. There are 164 employees working in this industrial unit. The biggest feature of this unit is that it works 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, i.e. production never stops. Heavy fabrication and machinery work is done in the unit. Niti Aayog sought problems and suggestions from women entrepreneurs. Entrepreneur Mrs. Kumud Tiwari told that she is facing the most difficulty in getting skilled workers here. Currently, the employees are skilled and then they are made technicians and supervisors. Niti Aayog team was assured of a quick solution by the state and central governments.
