New Directors Appointed in the Health Department, Four Assistant Directors Promoted
Uttarakhand: The Uttarakhand Health Department is responding to the ongoing demands of doctors, and the path for promotions is becoming clearer. Four Assistant Directors working in the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department under the Uttarakhand PMHS cadre have been promoted to the position of Director. The doctors who received promotions include Dr. Nar Singh Gunjiyal, Dr. Keshar Singh Chauhan, Dr. Chandra Prakash Tripathi, and Dr. Manoj Upreti. Each of these doctors will receive a salary in the range of ₹144,200 to ₹218,200 at Level 15.
Health Secretary Dr. R. Rajesh Kumar congratulated all the newly promoted directors and urged them to work wholeheartedly for the public good. He mentioned that the arrival of new directors will help speed up departmental activities. The Health Secretary emphasized that the government is serious about addressing every legitimate demand from doctors and is prioritizing their resolutions. Recently, significant benefits were also provided to the provincial medical cadre and dental officers under the SDA CP scheme. He assured that other demands from doctors are being considered seriously and prioritized based on various aspects. He encouraged all doctors to continue working with dedication and commitment, reminding them that the government is responsible for addressing their demands and ensuring their safety.
