National Voters Day is celebrated on 25th January

Officers and employees who have made excellent contribution in election work will be honored

Raipur 24 January 2025: On the occasion of National Voter’s Day, National Voter’s Day program will be organized in Vivekananda Auditorium of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Raipur on 25 January from 11 am under the chief hospitality of State Election Commissioner Shri Ajay Singh. Officers and employees who have made significant contribution in election work will be honored in the program. Chief Electoral Officer Mrs. Reena Babasaheb Kangale informed that Raigarh Collector Shri Kartikeya Goyal will be honored as the best District Election Officer for getting the highest 81.66 percent voting in the Lok Sabha election 2024 in the state, Durg Collector Ms. Richa Prakash Chaudhary for 2.48 percent increase in voting percentage in the Lok Sabha election in the year 2024 as compared to the last Lok Sabha election despite being an urban area, Dantewada Collector Shri Mayank Chaturvedi for 10.39 percent increase in Lok Sabha election 2024 as compared to the last Lok Sabha election despite being a highly Naxal-affected area. Raipur Collector Shri Gaurav Kumar Singh will be honoured with a special award for excellent completion of training of polling parties during Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Chief Electoral Officer of Rajnandgaon district Ms Suruchi Singh for organising quality SVEEP activities and District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer of Mungeli district Shri Prabhakar Pandey for SVEEP activities related to motivating migrant labourers to vote.
