National news : Z category security to Anupriya Patel

The security of Union Minister Anupriya Patel has been increased. Now they will get Z category security. Earlier he had got Y plus category security. According to the report of news agency ANI, the security of Apna Dal (S) leader and Union Minister Anupriya Patel has been increased after IB input. The Home Ministry has increased his security from Y Plus category to Z category.

Sources have said that a review was conducted regarding his security during the Lok Sabha election campaign. In view of the possible danger, it was recommended to increase security, after which the Home Ministry has taken this decision.

According to the current information from the Home Ministry, 22 personnel are protected in Z category. It includes 4-6 NSG commandos and police personnel. Whereas in Y+ category, 11 personnel are engaged in security. These include 2-4 commandos and police personnel. All security personnel are armed and are proficient in handling all types of situations in any emergency. They are given training in firing with both hands and driving with both hands.

Anupriya Patel is a Lok Sabha MP. Anupriya had contested the elections from Mirzapur seat of Uttar Pradesh from Apna Dal. Anupriya Patel is the national president of Apna Dal and was elected by the party as its national president in September 2019. His father Yashkay Dr. Sonelal Patel was the founder of Apna Dal. His mother’s name is Mrs. Krishna Patel. Anupriya Patel is the youngest minister of the Modi government and she is the Minister of State in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Anupriya was the Minister of State in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India from 2016 to 2019. She is a big leader of the Kurmi community with a large support base in Uttar Pradesh.
