National news : Nitish Kumar passes floor test, 129 votes cast in favor

Patna. Nitish government passed the floor test in Bihar Assembly on Monday. The opposition had staged a walkout even before voting. Voting was conducted on the demand of the ruling party. 129 votes were cast in support of this. Not a single vote was cast in opposition.

Earlier, during the discussion on the confidence motion in the House, as soon as the Chief Minister stood up to speak, the RJD MLAs started creating ruckus. Nitish Kumar angrily said that if people do not want to listen to me then get voting done. Nitish reminded the jungle raj of Tejashwi’s parents.

In the House, former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav said that those who guarantee Modi ji will tell whether the Chief Minister will turn again or not?

Tejashwi said, “I am happy that Karpoori Thakurji was given Bharat Ratna. BJP has made Bharat Ratna a deal. You come with us and we will give you Bharat Ratna.” Tejashwi said even before the floor test – Let me speak today, from tomorrow we will be among the public.

Slogans of Tejashwi Zindabad were raised during the speech. Lathicharge was also done on RJD workers who were creating ruckus outside the Assembly.

Earlier, Speaker Awadh Bihari Chaudhary was removed by passing a no-confidence motion. 125 votes were cast in favor of the no-confidence motion against the Speaker and 112 against it.
