New Delhi: A team of ED officers has raided the house of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. It is reported that a search operation is being conducted in the Chief Minister’s residence. It is known that after the search the Chief Minister may also be interrogated. Unconfirmed sources are also saying that the Chief Minister may also be arrested.
North District DCP Manoj Kumar Meena is present at Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Many ACP rank officers have reached Arvind Kejriwal’s house. Heavy police force has been deployed by Delhi Police.
CM Arvind Kejriwal’s troubles are increasing continuously in the alleged liquor scam of Delhi. After sending 9 consecutive summons, the ED team reached Kejriwal’s house on Thursday evening with the 10th summons. ED Joint Director Kapil Raj is also present at Kejriwal’s residence. Kejriwal’s statement is being recorded under Section 50 of PMLA.
ED investigating officer Jogendra is interrogating CM Kejriwal. According to sources, his house is also being searched. Meanwhile, Kejriwal’s legal team has filed a petition in the Supreme Court where the High Court order has been challenged.
Meanwhile, Delhi Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has also reached outside Kejriwal’s house. He said that there are preparations to arrest Kejriwal. Today itself, Delhi High Court had made an important comment in this matter and said that CM Kejriwal is not relieved from the arrest.
After this, the ED team reached CM Kejriwal’s house in the evening. Many ACP rank officers have reached the CM residence. It has come to light that 6 to 8 officers have reached CM Kejriwal’s house and they have come here to serve summons. Let us tell you that ED has already given 9 summons to CM Kejriwal. The 10th summons has been given to CM Kejriwal on Thursday.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has received a big blow from the Delhi High Court. The High Court has not put any stay on his arrest, which means that on the basis of evidence, ED can still arrest the Delhi CM in the liquor scam.
