National News: Changes in CBSE Board, passing in so many subjects mandatory from next session
CBSE has made a big change in the board exam, the Union Education Ministry said that from the academic session 2024-25, students will have to study 10 subjects in class 9th and 10th. Whereas students of class 12th will have to study a total of six subjects. And the purpose of this change is that in this way students can gain knowledge of different languages and at the same time they can become more conscious about studies and acquire knowledge so that the level of education can be further improved.
Three languages in 10th and two languages in 12th
CBSE Class 10th will now have three languages, out of which two will be spoken in India. There will be seven main subjects in CBSE Board Class 10th. This includes Math and Computational Thinking, Social Sciences, Science, Arts, Education, Physical Education and Wellness, Professional Education. Students are required to pass in all subjects. Whereas in class 12th, now students will have to study two languages instead of one. One of the two will be the language spoken in India, while there will be four core subjects and one optional subject. Under the National Credit Framework (NCRF), these subjects are divided into three groups. CBSE board students will have to select four subjects from two groups.
