Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party is going to protest in Delhi today. This demonstration will be held outside the BJP headquarters over allegations of rigging in the Chandigarh Mayor elections, although Delhi Police did not approve the demonstration.

Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will participate in the party’s demonstration. On Tuesday, BJP won the Chandigarh Mayor elections and this victory has shocked the opposition group ‘India’ AAP and Congress. BJP’s Delhi unit said its president Virendra Sachdeva and leader of opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri along with others will protest against the corruption of the Kejriwal government.

At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister and AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal wrote on Twitter, ‘First he looted votes in Chandigarh Mayor elections. Now, people coming for peaceful protest against this are being stopped all over Delhi.

Alleging rigging in the Chandigarh Mayor elections, Aam Aadmi Party has decided to hold a big demonstration in Delhi today. CM Kejriwal will participate in the protest. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will also be present with him. Aam Aadmi Party will protest in front of BJP headquarters in Delhi. However, permission for protest has not been given by Delhi Police. Delhi Police is fully alert. Besides, it has been decided to deploy about 1 thousand Delhi Police and Paramilitary forces. An official said that we will make adequate security arrangements to prevent protests and maintain law and order. Additional forces will also be deployed. No one will be allowed to violate law and order. On that day, traffic will be diverted from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg to other routes.

Security arrangements tightened at Singhu border
Due to the demonstration of Aam Aadmi Party, DDU route will be closed for traffic, due to which there may be heavy traffic jam around New Delhi and Center Delhi. Police has received information about the arrival of Aam Aadmi Party workers from many areas of Delhi and also workers from Punjab, due to which security arrangements have been tightened at the Singhu border.
