National news: Anti-social elements vandalized bikes and big vehicles

Delhi. In the early hours of Monday, about a dozen miscreants armed with sticks created a ruckus in the Shakurpur area of Subhash Place in the capital. The glasses of about 15 vehicles parked on the roadside were broken and about 20 bikes were also vandalized.

Regarding the reasons behind the violence, local people allege that the incident was carried out to establish dominance in the area. However, the police have registered the case and started investigation as the incident has been captured on CCTV. The police is trying to identify the accused through CCTV footage.

The incident took place in Shakurpur area around 4 am on Monday. When people came out of their homes due to miscreants creating ruckus, their vehicles parked on the roadside were vandalized. There are glass scattered everywhere on the road. The miscreants had tried to break about 20 bikes by throwing them on the road. Within no time the incident spread like wildfire in the area. After this people informed the police about the incident. After examining the CCTV cameras installed in the area, it was found that about a dozen miscreants had committed the crime. Everyone had sticks and rods in their hands. The miscreants were breaking the glass of vehicles and demolishing bikes and scooters. The miscreants were seen running away after committing the crime.
