Namibian cheetah escaped from Kuno National Park, reached Rajasthan
An African cheetah has escaped from Kuno Safari Park located in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh and has come to Rajasthan. This Namibian leopard has camped in Simara village of Karanpur area of Karauli district. On Saturday morning, the news of leopard entering the area spread panic in the entire area. On information, the forest department and police team reached Simara village. The forest department and police team is trying to catch the leopard.
The forest department and police have appealed to the people of the area to be cautious and maintain sufficient distance from the leopard. It is said to be Namibian. It is reported to have wandered from Kuno Safari Park in Madhya Pradesh and reached Karauli. Forest department officials say that he will be caught and taken back to Kuno.
Cheetah seen early on Saturday morning
Kedar Meena, resident of Simara village, said that on Saturday morning some villagers were going to the fields. During that time he saw a wild animal. Seeing the wild animal, they got scared and came back to the village. He informed other villagers about this. After this a large crowd of people gathered at the spot. The villagers informed the forest department and police about the arrival of wild animals in the area.
