MP Official Accused of Taking Office Belongings, District Orders Legal Action

Ex-CEO Takes Office Equipment After Transfer, District Panchayat Orders FIR

Bhopal/Obaidullaganj: Even after being transferred, former Janpad Panchayat CEO Yukti Sharma allegedly took government property with her. Despite multiple requests from the Janpad Panchayat to return the items, she did not comply. As a result, the District Panchayat CEO has ordered an FIR against her.

Involved in Controversies Before

Yukti Sharma has been associated with multiple controversies. In 2024, employees of the Janpad Panchayat and village secretaries went on strike against her, accusing her of demanding commissions for every task.

Transferred to Shivpuri, Left With Office Equipment

On August 27, 2024, Yukti Sharma was transferred from the Janpad Panchayat and appointed as the CEO of the Nutrition Plant in Shivpuri. As soon as she received her transfer order, she allegedly packed up office items in an auto and left.

Took Computers, Induction, and Even a Bed

The missing items reportedly include a computer, printer, bed, mattress, induction stove, and even a pressure cooker from her office. The Janpad Panchayat sent letters on October 4, 2024, and March 3, 2025, requesting her to return the items. In response, she asked for a purchase bill for the bed, claiming it was not official property. According to employees, some village secretaries pooled money to buy the bed so the CEO could comfortably care for her young child. However, she did not respond regarding the missing computer equipment. After the matter reached the District Panchayat CEO, he directed an FIR to be filed. The current CEO, Vrindavan Meena, has officially requested the Obaidullaganj police to register a case.
