MP NEWS: New universities in Guna, Sagar and Khargone, Registrar appointed

Bhopal. The state government has given in-principle approval for the establishment of Tatya Tope University in Guna, Rani Avantibai Lodhi University in Sagar and Krantisurya Tantya Bhil University in Khargone and its operation from the new academic session 2024-25. The government has also issued orders regarding handing over the charge of Registrars for all the three new universities.

The Higher Education Department has issued orders to upgrade Government Postgraduate College, Guna, to Tatya Tope University, Guna, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Government Arts and Commerce College, Sagar, to Rani Avantibai Lodhi University, Sagar and Government Postgraduate College, Khargone to Krantisurya Tantya Bhil University, Khargone.

Along with the present duties, the government has respectively transferred Rakesh Kumar Verma, Professor (Law), Government Post Graduate College, Guna, to Tatya Tope University Guna, Prof. Shakti Jain Professor (Economics) Government Post Graduate Girls College, Rani Avantibai Lodhi University Sagar and Dr. G.S. Orders have been issued to hand over additional charge of Registrar of Krantisurya Tantya Bhil University, Khargone to Chauhan Professor (Economics).
