Bhopal . Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today described the interim budget presented by the Madhya Pradesh government as a development-oriented budget and welfare of the citizens. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this budget will be for the primary sector and public welfare works related to education, irrigation, agriculture, higher education, school education, rural development, public works, urban development, Scheduled Caste-Tribe welfare, health and citizens’ facilities. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that adequate amount has been kept in the interim budget for the welfare of various sections. Provisions have been made for developmental works. The government is working for the betterment of common people through various schemes. Provision of maximum amount has also been made for women and farmers, who constitute half the population of the state.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said in discussion with media representatives that the final budget is in accordance with the public aspirations. The state government is concerned and active for maximum development in various sectors under the able leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
