Mp News : 25 women bike riders set out on an exciting journey to tourist destinations

The flag off of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board’s biking event “QUEENS ON THE WHEEL” took place from Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum on Saturday. 25 women bike riders from across the country set out on an exciting journey of 1400 kilometers passing through the tourist destinations of Madhya Pradesh. The finale will take place on March 8 (Women’s Day) upon returning back to Bhopal. In this, women riders from places like Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Ujjain, Indore, Gwalior, Dewas etc. will pass through prestigious places like Sanchi, Chanderi, Kuno, Gwalior, Orchha and Khajuraho from Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum, Bhopal. The women bikers were flagged off by the Tourism Board officials and sent off.

Tourism Board Shiv Shekhar Shukla said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the safe tourism project for women is being run smoothly in Madhya Pradesh. The trail aims to establish Madhya Pradesh as a safe and empowering destination for women travelers while promoting women empowerment and adventure tourism.

Principal Secretary Shukla said that the riders will experience the rich heritage, vibrant culture and untamed forests of Madhya Pradesh during this period. Women bikers will see the country’s first craft handloom tourism village developed at Pranpur near Chanderi. Rafting of Orchha and visit to the best tourist village Ladpura Khas, you will experience luxury glamping in Kuno Forest Retreat developed near Kuno National Park. Other major attractions will also be the historical city of Gwalior, UNESCO World Heritage Site Khajuraho and Adivarta State Museum.

Women bikers will leave from Bhopal on March 2 via Sanchi-Vidisha-Mugawali-Chanderi, on March 3 through Chanderi-Shivpuri-Pohri-Kuno, on March 4 via Kuno-Pohri-Mohana-Gwalior-Mitawali-Padhwali-Gwalior, on March 5. Gwalior-Datia-Jhansi-Orchha, Orchha-Niwari-Bamitha-Khajuraho on March 6, Khajuraho-Chhatarpur-Gulganj-Bada Malhara Banda-Sagar on March 7 and Bhopal via Sagar-Rahatgarh-Gyarspur-Vidisha Bypass-Sanchi on March 8.
