Raipur: The one-sided victory of BJP candidates in 60 out of 70 wards including the Mayor in Raipur Municipal Corporation has created history. Everyone had a role in this victory, but everyone is accepting the important role of former minister and MLA Rajesh Munat in conducting and managing the elections by working day and night with the entire team as per the strategy. Munat was quite angry about the work of Congress mayors who were in power in the corporation for fifteen years. From the day he won the assembly elections, he had caught the pulse of the people of the city. With the aim of removing those who were obstructing the development of the city, first he recharged the BJP workers of every ward. He kept holding continuous meetings in the BJP office. Kept giving feedback to all the big leaders in the organization. When it came to candidate selection, the first target was victory. No matter who is angry, the one whose victory seems certain from the ward will be made the candidate. He kept establishing continuous communication between the MLAs, MPs, organization officials and workers of all four assemblies. As a part of the strategy, the party leaders from the wards were asked to take care of the work there. The name of the mayor candidate Meenal Chaubey was also decided unanimously, even though she is said to be close to Moonat. Moonat also made a strategy to promote the campaign by constantly coordinating between the mayor and the ward candidates. Both of them benefited from this. He also did not let there be any shortage of resources. It was feared that there would be less voting, so he also made a blueprint for booth management. The kind of atmosphere that was created before the voting, it seemed certain that BJP was going to get a big victory and today after the results came, it became clear. Along with BJP leaders and workers, the people of the city also believe that the major credit for this big victory goes to MLA Rajesh Moonat.
