Monitoring of stray cattle through CCTV cameras, Commissioner himself did the monitoring
Raipur. Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra reached the ITMS (Integrated Traffic Management System) Daksh Center located on the third floor of the old bus stand multi-level parking and monitored stray cattle on various routes of the city through the CCTV cameras installed there. Raipur Municipal Corporation has issued helpline numbers 6269066630 or 6269066612 for the convenience of the public to catch stray cattle. Complaints of stray cattle are being registered by the citizens on these numbers. As per the instructions of the Commissioner, these complaints are being immediately sent to the Municipal Corporation’s Health Whatsapp Group along with the location and mobile number of the complainant and the team of the Health Department of the concerned area is immediately reaching the concerned routes with the help of a cowcatcher vehicle and the labourers of the special team and is doing the work of removing the stray cattle in the public interest on a campaign basis so that any kind of trouble can be prevented.
Commissioner Abinash Mishra has directed all the zone health officers including Health Officer Dr. Tripti Panigrahi to immediately reach the mobile number location of the citizens coming to the call center on the stray cattle catching helpline number and immediately sending it to the Corporation Health Whatsapp Group and remove the stray cattle from the roads so that the citizens do not face any kind of trouble. As per the order of the High Court, in accordance with the guidelines of the State Government, as per the orders of Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh, as per the instructions of Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Shri Abinash Mishra, the campaign of catching stray cattle from the roads of the capital city Municipal Corporation area by the cow catcher team of all the zones is continuing regularly every day. Today, the team of Zone 10 removed 15 stray cattle from Devpuri Main Road and 4 from Dronacharya School Road to Lalpur Road, a total of 19 stray cattle from the roads and sent them to Gokul Nagar Gauthan. The team of Zone 4 caught 3 stray cattle in ward 57, 2 in ward 45 and 2 in ward 44, a total of 7 stray cattle and collected a fine of Rs. 1500 from the concerned animal owners for leaving stray cattle on the road, giving them a stern warning for the future. The team of Zone 6 caught Dr. In the area of Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Ward No. 61, 5 stray cattle were caught from the roads and sent to Gokul Nagar Gauthan.
On the complaints received from citizens in the stray cattle catching helpline, the cowcatcher team of the Municipal Corporation Zone 3 Health Department sent a special team and immediately removed the stray cattle from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk and Shyam Nagar Road and provided relief to the citizens. Similarly, public complaints regarding 5-6 cows on the road ahead of Pahadi Chowk, 10 cows in Geeta Nagar Bhanpuri, 10-12 cows near Kushalpur Bazaar Chowk, 7-8 cows near Changorabhatta Muskan Residency, herd of cows near Jhanda Chowk Sai Temple, 6-7 cows on the highway in front of Lalit Mahal, 8-10 cows in Avadhpuri Colony, 5 cows and 2 buffaloes in Adarsh Vihar Colony, 8-10 cows from Vijay Nagar to Mahamaya Temple, 10-12 cows near Sundar Nagar Football Ground, herd of cows from near Gudhiyari Hamar Hospital to Mangalam Bhawan, herd of 5-7 cows behind Srinagar Shivanand Nagar Ganesh Temple should be immediately reported to the Commissioner along with photo images received from ITMS online monitoring system along with mobile number location of the complainant. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, this information was sent to the Corporation Health Whatsapp Group. On which the concerned zone health officers immediately sent cowcatcher vehicles and labourers of the special team to remove the stray cattle from the respective roads and provided immediate relief to the citizens.
