Mobile Medical Unit in Bilaspur will run in coordination with Health Department and Nagar Nigam
Mobile Medical Unit can now be used in national health programs as well
Raipur, November 13, 2024: Medical Mobile Unit in Bilaspur will be operated in coordination with Municipal Corporation and Health Department. Currently this mobile medical unitwas operated by Municipal Corporation in the slum areas of the city under the Chief Minister Urban Health Program.
After the instructions issued by the Collector Bilaspur, now this mobile medical unit of urban health program can be used in the operation of national health programs along with urban slum areas.As per the instructions issued by the Collector regarding the operation and maintenance of mobile medical unit, the lab technicians, staff nurses of the mobile unit will work under the direction of the Health Department after receiving training from the Chief Medical and Health Officer’s office in relation to vaccination, sickling test, NCD and sputum sampling operated by the Health Department. Sickling test of at least 50% of the total number of patients coming to the mobile medical unit will be done compulsorily.
Complete physical examination of all sanitation workers and office workers of the Municipal Corporation is to be done within 15 days. In this regard, it will be mandatory to include necessary out-source tests in addition to the lab test of the mobile medical unit. Lab test related data of all patients coming to the mobile medical unit will be made available to the CMHO office daily. The programs of the Health Department, whose implementation is related to the field, all such programs will be implemented through the mobile medical unit. The Chief Medical and Health Officer will provide medicines and materials necessary for the operation of the mobile medical unit with a minimum expiry date of 1 year. According to the instructions issued, if such medicines are available in the mobile medical unit whose consumption is decreasing and the expiry date is less than 2 months, it will be returned to the Chief Medical and Health Officer. It will be used by the CMHO through the dispensary operated under the government.
