Minister Devangan participated in the programs organized at Lal Maidan, RP Nagar, Mudapar and other places on Vijayadashami, the festival of power and valor.
Raipur. Vijayadashami Dussehra festival, the festival of victory of truth over falsehood and religion over irreligion, was celebrated with great pomp in Korba. Commerce, Industry and Labor Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan participated as the chief guest on the festival of Vijayadashami organized at all major places including Lal Maidan, RP Nagar Phase One, Old Basti Mudapar. On this occasion, effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhakarna were burnt. The tallest effigy of Ravana, 110 feet tall, was burnt in the Lal Maidan of UrjaDhani. Before this, Minister Shri Devangan worshiped Lord Shri Ram Sena. He approved Rs 25 lakh for the construction of a community building in Rajendra Nagar Phase-1 of Darri. Minister Shri Devangan participated in the grand Dussehra festival organized at Mangal Bhawan located on Darri main road, Minister Shri Devangan duly performed the puja. On the demand of the prominent people of the committee, Minister Shri Devangan announced approval for other development works including the expansion of Mangal Bhawan.
Minister Shri Devangan from Darri reached the huge Dussehra grounds of Rajendra Prasad Nagar Phase 01 amidst a crowd of thousands and shouted Jai Jai Shri Ram and said that this festival of Vijayadashami, a symbol of the victory of Dharma over Adharma and truth over falsehood, inspires everyone to eliminate the evils within themselves and follow the path of Dharma and humanity. Labour Minister Shri Devangan participated in the huge Dussehra festival organised at Rani Road and Mudapar Bazaar in Purani Basti Korba. Minister Shri Devangan said that the Dussehra festival of Mudapar is being celebrated for the last 50 years. Minister Shri Devangan happily announced the construction of a pandal in Mudapar and congratulated and wished everyone on Dussehra and burnt the effigy of Ravana by pressing the remote button. Public representatives and dignitaries were present in large numbers on this occasion.
