Raipur 26 December 2024: Our government is constantly working for the happiness and prosperity of the people. Procurement of paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal, purchase of 21 quintals of paddy per acre has brought prosperity to the farmers. Through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, we are giving an installment of one thousand rupees per month to 70 lakh mothers and sisters every month. We are going to start the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yatra Yojana for the visit to the major pilgrimage sites of the country. Through this scheme also, travelers will get the opportunity to go on a free pilgrimage. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the Parvatdaan (food) and Ashwamedha Yagna Mahotsav organized at village Timralga in Sarangarh Bilaigarh district today. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while addressing the Parvatdan and Ashvamedha Yagna Mahotsav in Timralga village, said that whenever big religious events are held, the entire surrounding area gets drenched in the color of devotion.
Chhattisgarh is the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram. This is the land where Lord Shri Ram spent most of his exile. In Shivrinarayan in the holy land of Chhattisgarh, Mother Shabari had fed Lord Shri Ram with chewed berries. Our land of Chhattisgarh is a very holy land. Valmiki ji’s ashram is in Turturiya. Valmiki Ashram is the land where Luv and Kush had caught the horse of Ashvamedha Yagna. Memories of Lord Shri Ram are present in every particle of Chhattisgarh. We are continuously working to preserve the memories of Lord Shri Ram. Chief Minister Sai said that we are also working to connect the five Shaktipeeths of the state. We have also started organizing Kumbh Mela again in Rajim, the city of Triveni Sangam. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai announced the upgradation of secondary school of Timralga village to high school, beautification of Maa Nathal Dai to develop it as a tourist centre, upgradation of sub-health centre of Timralga village to primary health centre. On this occasion, Raigarh MP Radheshyam Rathia, Smt. Kera Bai Manhar, Shamsher Singh, Smt. Pushpa Devi Singh and other dignitaries were present.
