Raipur. Today, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Ejaz Dhebar reached the immersion pond near Mahadev Ghat and directly inspected its administrative arrangements and preparations for immersion of Shri Ganesh idols in the presence of Zone Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Zone 8 A.K. Haldar. The Mayor inquired about the preparations of administrative arrangements for immersion of Shri Ganesh idols from the Zone Commissioner at the site. The Zone Commissioner informed the Mayor about the completion of cleaning and lighting arrangements of the immersion pond. The Mayor was informed that all the necessary administrative arrangements including necessary barricading by PWD at the immersion pond site and fire brigade arrangements would be completed soon before 16 September 2024 to provide proper immersion arrangements. Mayor Ejaz Dhebar instructed Zone 8 Zone Commissioner Shri A.K. Haldar was instructed to ensure administratively that there is sufficient water in the immersion tank during the immersion arrangements and all the idols of Shri Ganesh brought to the immersion tank should be immersed with devotion. The Mayor has suggested to provide mechanical arrangements along with manual arrangements to provide administrative arrangements for the immersion of the idols of Shri Ganesh at a fast pace at the immersion tank site.
