Raipur – Today, Mayor of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Ejaz Dhebar directly inspected the administrative arrangements given to the devotees for the immersion of the idols of Adishakti Mata Durga near Mahadev Ghat in the presence of Municipal Corporation Zone 8 Zone Commissioner A.K. Haldar and Executive Engineer Abhishek Gupta. Mayor Mr. Ejaz Dhebar instructed the devotees to provide the best immersion arrangements for the immersion of the idols of Mata Durga in the immersion pond. Municipal Corporation Raipur has put the administrative duty of corporation officers and employees for 24 hours in 3 shifts of 8 hours each from 6 am today on 12 October to 6 am on 15 October at the immersion pond site. All the necessary arrangements including health camp, crane, fire brigade, home guard jawans, cowherds, cleanliness, drinking water, lighting, stage, barricading have been done in collaboration with the district, police administration, Public Works Department, Water Resources, Home Department, CG Power Company. The mayor has given instructions that no devotee of the mother goddess should face any inconvenience during the immersion of the idol; the concerned officers and employees should take special care by coordinating with each other.
