Jabalpur (Spa Center in Jabalpur): A shocking revelation has come to light after a young woman working at a spa center was allegedly fired without pay by the owner of Royal Spa Center. In retaliation, she exposed the dark reality of spa centers in the city, claiming that many of them are involved in illegal activities under the guise of massage services. On Wednesday, the woman approached the Omti Police Station and made serious allegations that left officials stunned. Acting swiftly, the police conducted a late-night inspection at Royal Spa Center, located near Rail Bridge No. 4, where the woman had been working. However, the investigation did not uncover any illegal activities at the premises. The owner was instructed to settle the woman’s pending salary. Despite this, her complaint has cast suspicion over the operations of several spa centers in the city.
Fired in Just 10 Days
The 30-year-old woman, originally from Assam, had joined the spa center just 10 days ago. She was promised a monthly salary of ₹20,000, but after a week, the owner claimed that her work was “unsatisfactory” and terminated her without paying for the days she worked. She further alleged that spa owners often lure women in with high salary offers but later pressure them into unethical activities. Those who refuse are dismissed, while others, under financial strain, are forced into compliance.
She Exposed the Network & Surveillance Tactics
The woman named multiple spa centers in her complaint, claiming that they engage in illegal activities under the cover of massage services. She also pointed out how these centers use high-resolution CCTV cameras outside their premises to monitor their surroundings. Whenever they spot police or suspicious individuals approaching, they quickly move the women elsewhere, making it difficult for authorities to catch them in the act. She alleged that several spa centers near Purana Bus Stand, Chautha Pul, and other locations cater to men willing to spend large sums of money. Many customers, including young men and middle-aged individuals, stay inside for hours at a time. According to her, spa owners encourage female employees to “satisfy” clients in exchange for extra commissions, trapping many women in this cycle and ruining their lives.
