Mass marriage conferences are encouraging financial frugality: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal:  Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Madhya Pradesh is moving towards becoming a developed state. During the tenure of Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan as Chief Minister, Madhya Pradesh became self-sufficient in electricity supply and irrigation system. A network of roads has been laid in every village of the state. This is not just a matter of mass marriage conference, today various development works worth Rs 170.42 crores were inaugurated and Bhoomi Pujan was also done to speed up the development work in Budhni Assembly. This is another new step taken towards the development of this area. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the mass marriage conference under the Chief Minister Kanyadan Yojana in village Piplani located in Bherunda of Budhni Assembly constituency of Sehore district on Saturday. 572 couples of the regional tribal (Gond) society tied the knot in the conference.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that earlier, marriage of daughters was a difficult affair. Poor people and farmers had to sell their land for the marriage of their daughters, but Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan was the first to start getting poor girls married by collecting donations. Later, a scheme was prepared at the government level and mass marriage conferences were started. Today, every section of the society is not only avoiding evils like extravagance through this scheme, but mass marriage conferences are also encouraging the trend of financial frugality in the society. In Sanatan society, marriage is not only a relationship between the bride and groom, it is also the beginning of a new relationship for two families.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that four-lane, medical college and garment factories are located in Budhni. Development work of Devi Lok in Salkanpur is also in progress. On Friday itself, Bhoomi Pujan of Devshree Jageshwar Mahadev Lok was also done in Bandakpur of Damoh. Our government is taking forward all the works started by Union Minister and former Chief Minister Shri Chauhan. No stone will be left unturned in the development of Budhni area. He said that to increase the income of farmers, the state government has purchased wheat at Rs 2600 per quintal. To promote animal husbandry, our government has started Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana, in which farmers are also getting 25 to 33 percent subsidy. A target has been set to increase milk production in the state from 9 percent to 20 percent. The government has resolved to make one village in every block an ideal Vrindavan village.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India is a powerful country, which is capable of giving a befitting reply to any enemy. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has carried out surgical strikes not once but three times. In Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir, terrorists have ruined the married life of sisters by asking their religion. Now terrorists and their hideouts are being destroyed through Operation Sindoor. The world is seeing the power of India.

Union Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that India is a wonderful country, where along with the Shehnai, drums are also being played on the border. If anyone raises his eyes towards India, we will not spare him. He said that today our newlyweds are also standing with the Indian Army. Marriage is such a relationship in which one has to walk together. Take a pledge with your daughters that all of us countrymen will support the government and the armies and boost their morale. Union Agriculture Minister Shri Chauhan said that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, all the welfare schemes like Mukhyamantri Ladli Laxmi, Ladli Behna and Kanyadan Yojana are being run well in the state, which were started in the previous government. He said that Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will leave no stone unturned in the development of Budhni Assembly constituency.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that India does not attack anyone. Prime Minister Shri Modi had said that those who shed the blood of innocent Indians will be crushed to dust. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the army is giving a befitting reply to the enemy. Jawans are deployed on the border and our farmers are standing in the fields. He said that the grain reserves of the country are full of food grains, the countrymen should not worry at all and stand firmly with their army. He said that when it comes to the question of the country’s honor, one cannot sit idle. We will sacrifice everything for Mother India, but will maintain our sovereignty and honor under all circumstances.

Revenue Minister Mr. Karan Singh Verma said that under the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Yojana, children of poor, farmers and citizens of every class are getting married free of cost. This scheme provides economic strength and support to the society. Budhni MLA Mr. Ramakant Bhargava also addressed on this occasion. MLA Kannaud-Khategaon Mr. Ashish Sharma, MLA Sehore Mr. Sudesh Rai, former MLA Mr. Rajju Bhaiya, social worker Mr. Devisingh Dhurve, Mrs. Dulari Bai, Mrs. Vinita Uike, local public representatives, officials of the organizing committee, bride and groom and their families were present in the program.
