Support each other in every difficulty so that your life is full of happiness and prosperity. The Chief Minister Kanyadan Yojana has ended the worries of fathers of daughters. This was said by Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Shri Govind Singh Rajput during the Chief Minister Kanyadan Vivah/Nikah program of more than 750 girls in Rahatgarh of Surkhi assembly constituency.
Minister Shri Rajput said that through the Mukhyamantri Vivah Yojana, an amount of Rs. 49000 is now being transferred directly to the accounts of daughters for their marriage. Minister Shri Rajput said that all the newly married couples can buy household items or go on a trip with the money given today but live their life with full love. Minister Shri Rajput said that today our country has become influential due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the army. Pakistan had the audacity to raise its eyes on India, on which our country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the army have given them a befitting reply and taught them a good lesson.
District Panchayat Chairman Hira Singh Rajput said that our poor middle class daughters are getting married through the Mukhyamantri Kanyadan Vivah Yojana by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav in which ministers, leaders, officers and thousands of baraatis are present. Mr. Rajput wished them a bright future. He said that today is a very auspicious day when marriages of Hindu daughters are taking place in the same pandal and Nikah of Muslim daughters is also taking place.
Mrs. Savita Rajput, wife of the former district Panchayat Chairman and Minister Shri Govind Rajput, said that all the grooms should not give any trouble to our daughters, their trouble is our trouble, you should take full care of them and live your life with love. When Mrs. Savita Singh Rajput performed the Bundelkhandi song Banno Teri Akhiyan Surmedani on the occasion, the eyes of the daughters’ family members became moist. The entire ceremony was filled with the joy of wedding with the Bundelkhandi auspicious songs of Bundelkhandi singer Kavita Sharma.

In the Chief Minister Kanyadan Vivah Samaroh organized in Rahatgarh, Food Minister Mr. Govind Singh Rajput and his wife former District Panchayat President Mrs. Savita Singh Rajput along with all the guests seated on the stage showered flowers on all the couples and wished them a happy married life. Mrs. Savita Singh Rajput presented saris as gifts to all the daughters and cheques were distributed. Bundelkhandi cuisine was being served in the event, and to escape the heat, people also enjoyed cold buttermilk and Pana Kulfi.
