Making the state self-reliant by providing employment to the youth is the top priority of the government: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that it is the priority of the state government that the youth of our state become competent, capable and self-reliant. Our top priority is to create a self-reliant society and a self-reliant state by providing employment and self-employment. We are continuously moving forward rapidly in this direction. Rapid efforts are being made to create employment in every sector in the state, whether it is the field of traditional dairy farming or the field of modern IT. Industry Conclave was organized on a large scale to promote employment-based industrial development in the state. Its better results are also coming out. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program organized on the occasion of inauguration of Mayor Mega Employment Fair organized at Dussehra Maidan, Indore on Sunday.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appreciated the good response received to the employment fair and said that through such employment fairs, the government and administration are providing opportunities, platform and guidance to the youth. He also praised the campaign to set up industries in every panchayat in Indore district in the direction of providing employment to the youth. It is noteworthy that industries have been set up in all the panchayats by running a campaign in Indore district. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav told the youth that today is the era of skills. Practical knowledge and communication skills are also necessary along with degree. I am proud that Indore has taken an exemplary initiative in this direction. The Chief Minister appealed to the youth to take advantage of these opportunities and make their future bright.

On the issue of India-Pakistan relations and border security, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the country is no longer the same as before. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has proved on the global stage with its power, strategy and technical capability that we want peace, but we also know how to give a befitting reply when required. India has achieved a new direction under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Today India does not provoke anyone, but if someone makes the mistake of provoking India, we never spare him. Our forces are now moving beyond traditional warfare methods and using ultra-modern technologies. With this, enemies are being answered on every front. Comparing India’s defense policy with ‘New India of the new era’, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this is the same India which maintains restraint, but does not shy away from showing valor and valor when required. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, India is also moving rapidly towards self-reliance, be it defense production, strategic policy or global diplomacy. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav asked the citizens to have faith in the government and the armed forces, India is now emerging as a strong, self-reliant and decisive nation.

Urban Administration and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya said that India’s identity is its youth, and these youth are the future of the country. He said that India is the country in the world which has the largest youth population, which is a matter of pride for us. Shri Vijayvargiya told that the Central and State Governments are making continuous efforts together for the welfare of the youth and to provide them employment. He said, we are fortunate that our country has got a leadership like Prime Minister Shri Modi. Under his leadership, India is moving on the path of continuous progress. He also said that due to the strong determination and willpower of Prime Minister Shri Modi, the country has fought strongly against terrorism. He called upon the youth to play an active role in the development of the country and contribute to nation building.

Minister of State for Technical Education and Skill Development (Independent Charge) Shri Gautam Tetwal said that Indore is playing a leading role in the field of skill development and employment generation in the state. Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar has shown us a new direction in the field of employment generation. Following her path, the state government is continuously creating new employment opportunities. He said that there are immense possibilities in areas like livestock-based economy and traditional craftsmanship, which can be promoted to make the youth self-reliant. He said that through the ongoing skill development programs in the state, work is being done to connect the youth with employment by training them as per the requirements of the industries.

While giving the welcome speech at the beginning, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava informed about the objectives of organizing the job fair. He said that the fair has been a great success. More youth participated than expected. Complete care was taken of the convenience of the youth who came to the fair. 145 counters were made for them and they were introduced to the employers. He said that this fair is not only a means of employment, but has also proved to be an inspiring platform for building self-confidence and direction in the youth.

On this occasion, Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, former Lok Sabha Speaker Smt. Sumitra Mahajan, MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, MLAs Smt. Malini Gaud, Shri Ramesh Mendola and Shri Golu Shukla, Chairman of Scheduled Caste Finance Development Corporation Shri Sawan Sonkar, Chairman of Safai Kamgar Commission Shri Pratap Karosia, Shri Sumit Mishra, former MLA Shri Jeetu Jirati and Shri Sudarshan Gupta along with other public representatives were present.

A crowd of young people gathered at the fair

A huge crowd of youth was seen in the Mayor Mega Employment Fair organized by Indore Municipal Corporation. More than 150 companies participated in the fair and offered more than 10 thousand employment opportunities. Against this, 20 thousand youth registered themselves.

Paytm, Airtel, Zomato, Sony India, Dr. Reddy’s Group, Taurus Pvt. Ltd., Patel Motors, NIIT Ltd., leading companies from IT, retail, e-commerce, pharma, consultancy, fintech, sales, accounting and marketing sectors participated.

On -the-spot selection and career guidance

Many companies adopted the process of on-the-spot selection based on merit. Training workshops on CV writing, interview tips and skill development were also organized by experts. The fair was conducted in a systematic manner in coordination with the Municipal Corporation, District Administration and other departments.

Honoring academicians and entrepreneurs

In the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav honored the vice-chancellors and entrepreneurs of various universities of Indore. These include Vice-Chancellor of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Mr. Rakesh Singhai, Mr. Dilip Patnaik of Medicaps, Dr. Sunil Somani of Oriental University, Dr. Prashant Jain of Sage University, Mr. Mohit Yadav of Annie Besant Educational Institution, Mr. Chirag Jain of Ecobuild, educationist Dr. Jayantilal Bhandari and Professor Mr. Amit Pahare.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed certificates of benefits to the selected beneficiaries under various schemes in the program and handed over appointment letters to the selected youth and released a booklet based on skill development and employment.
