Make the district hospital a centre for the best treatment: Deputy Chief Minister Shukla

Bhopal. Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla reviewed the hospital arrangements in the auditorium of District Hospital Rewa on Sunday. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the most modern treatment facilities are available in the district hospital. After the construction of the new OPD building is completed, the facilities will increase further. Make the hospital a centre for the best treatment by making full use of its facilities. The Chief Medical and Health Officer and the Civil Surgeon should make Ayushman cards for all persons above 70 years of age as per the instructions of the government. This will provide treatment worth Rs 5 lakh to elderly patients every year.

The Deputy Chief Minister said that health check-up camps were organized in the district in two phases. Follow up the treatment of the serious patients identified in these camps continuously. Provide full treatment facilities to every identified patient. He said that a campaign should be run in the district to identify children suffering from heart disease under the Chief Minister’s Bal Hriday Upchar Yojana. Children eligible for operation are being given free operation facilities under the National Child Protection Program. The Deputy Chief Minister also gave instructions to control communicable diseases and improve treatment facilities in community and primary health centers. The Deputy Chief Minister said that a large number of posts of medical personnel including doctors are being filled in the Health Department. Specialist doctors will be deployed in every community health center. Ensure the fulfillment of posts of doctors and staff nurses in new hospitals.

The Deputy Chief Minister inspected the under-construction OPD building

After the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister inspected the new OPD building under construction in the district hospital premises. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the construction work should be completed within the stipulated time frame, so that the general public can be given the benefit of treatment facilities on time. The Civil Surgeon should submit regular reports on the progress of construction works. All Block Medical Officers should also regularly inform about the progress of the buildings of health institutions under construction in their area. Take action against the construction agency which is negligent. On this occasion, Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Venkatesh Pandey, Collector Smt. Pratibha Pal, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sanjeev Shukla, Civil Surgeon Dr. M.L. Gupta, Dr. B.K. Agnihotri, Executive Engineer Anamika Singh, Executive Engineer Housing Board Mr. Anuj Pratap Singh, representatives of the construction agency, all medical officers and BMO were present.
