Major Road Accident in Pauri: Bus Falls into Gorge, Four Lives Lost on the Spot, Eighteen Injured

Pauri: A tragic bus accident occurred in Pauri Garhwal, where a bus traveling from Pauri Garhwal to Srinagar met with a serious mishap. Reports indicate that five people lost their lives, and several others were injured. Details of the Incident The accident took place on the Satyakhal Road in Pauri. The local authorities have already launched a rescue operation. According to the information received, a bus with the registration number UK 12PB-0177 lost control and fell into a gorge, eventually coming to a stop after crashing into a tree. The impact was so severe that the bus was completely wrecked.

Casualties and Rescue Efforts
According to the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), there were a total of 22 passengers on board. The Pauri police, along with local residents, worked diligently to rescue the injured, successfully transporting 18 people to the hospital. Unfortunately, four individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. It’s reported that the bus was on its way from Pauri to Dahalchori when the accident occurred.
