Mahtari Vandan Yojana: Support in difficult times for needy women

Raipur. The flagship Mahtari Vandan Yojana of the Chhattisgarh government has proved beneficial in many ways for the lower and middle class women and has become a support in difficult times. Even today, in the male-dominated Indian society, women have to depend on men to fulfill small and big needs. Even in today’s era, the money for many works done by working women with their hard work is deposited with their father, husband, father-in-law or the head of their house. But due to the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana of the state government being deposited directly in the account of the concerned woman every month, this amount is proving to be very useful for the women of the state.

Like the entire state, this scheme is getting a good response in Balod district as well. Getting an amount of one thousand rupees per month through this public welfare scheme of the state government has become the basis of financial strength for Dileshwari, a resident of Ward No. 08 of village Jhalmala of the district. As a result of receiving the money from this scheme, Dileshwari is able to arrange nutritious food items for her small children regularly and also easily fulfill her small needs like medical treatment, soap, soda etc. whenever required. Now she does not need to beg anyone for the fulfillment of things required for her daily needs and for essential works like treatment etc.

She said that the Mahtari Vandan Yojana started by the Chhattisgarh government has proved useful in every way for many poor and middle class women like us and has become a support in difficult times. Since the amount of this scheme is deposited in her account every month, now she is not facing any difficulty in arranging these things. Apart from this, she is also able to easily arrange nutritious food items for her two small children Kumari Purvi and 02-year-old boy Jatin Patel.

It is noteworthy that the Chhattisgarh government led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, like a true guardian, has implemented the Mahtari Vandan Yojana in the state, understanding the real pain and needs of the innumerable women of the state, which is commendable and praiseworthy in every respect. Mrs. Dileshwari said that by implementing this scheme, the state government has worked to make women self-reliant and capable. As a result of which, self-reliance and self-confidence have been instilled in women. Understanding the real needs of the women of the state, she has expressed her heartfelt thanks to Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai for implementing this highly ambitious scheme in Chhattisgarh and expressed her gratitude towards him.
