Mahtari sewing center became an example of women empowerment, Brijmohan Agrawal said – a big step towards the development of the country

Raipur- On the continuous efforts and innovative initiative of the first citizen of the capital city Raipur, Mayor of Municipal Corporation, Smt. Meenal Chaubey, today the Deputy Chief Minister of the State, Urban Administration and Development Department, Arun Saw, reached the Cultural Bhawan Changorabhata of Municipal Corporation Raipur in the capital city and inaugurated the Mahtari Sewing Center, giving a wonderful gift to the sisters by giving them skill training under the scheme of NULM. As per the social welfare intention of the Central Government led by the successful Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, on the directions of the Chhattisgarh Government led by the Chief Minister of the state, Vishnu Dev Sai, to provide self-employment to women through the work of women empowerment and to register active participation in the direction of making the nation strong and prosperous, as a result of the continuous efforts of Mayor Smt. Meenal Chaubey in the Cultural Bhawan Changorabhata of Municipal Corporation Raipur of the capital city, Piku and sewing machines have been purchased at a cost of about 24 lakh rupees with the aim of making women self-reliant by providing them self-employment. Today, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw gave a wonderful gift to the sisters while inaugurating the program by lighting the lamp in front of the photograph of Shri Ganesh and Chhattisgarh Mahtari. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said that when women become self-reliant and self-sufficient by receiving skill training, they will register their participation by contributing strongly to make the nation and society prosperous and developed, this is in the interest of the nation and society.
This center will become a model for Chhattisgarh. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw expressed happiness on the inauguration of Mahtari Sewing Centre in the capital city and appreciated the continuous efforts of Mayor Mrs. Meenal Choubey and Raipur Municipal Corporation. MP Brijmohan Agrawal said that women empowerment work is a meaningful initiative towards making the nation prosperous and developed, for this he appreciated Mayor Mrs. Meenal Choubey and the team of Raipur Municipal Corporation for making continuous efforts. MP Brijmohan Agrawal suggested opening Mahtari Sewing Centres in all 70 wards to make the women self-reliant and self-dependent by giving them skill training in computers and other subjects in the interest of the nation and society. On the occasion of the inauguration of Mahtari Sewing Centre, Mayor Mrs. Meenal Chaubey thanked Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, MP Brijmohan Agarwal, Raipur South MLA Sunil Soni, Chairman Suryakant Rathore, State Minority Commission Chairman Amarjeet Singh Chhabra, Corporation Commissioner Vishwadeep, MIC members, Zone Chairmen, Ward Councillors as well as the team of NUL M and Raipur Municipal Corporation and while congratulating all the sisters, said that by getting skill training at Mahtari Sewing Centre, the sisters will become empowered and will strongly register their participation in developing the nation and society.
