Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has said that the immortal works of Mahakavi Kalidas, a great poet of amazing talent, are a unique example of the unbreakable relationship between man and nature. The works of Mahakavi are the invaluable cultural heritage of the country. By organizing the All India Kalidas Festival in a dignified manner, the Madhya Pradesh government is doing a commendable job of preserving and protecting our culture and heritage. The works of Mahakavi Kalidas will always inspire our life values. Vice President Mr. Dhankhar was addressing as the chief guest after inaugurating the All India Kalidas Festival in Ujjain on Tuesday.
Vice President Mr. Dhankhar inaugurated the 66th grand All India Kalidas Festival in a dignified manner in the presence of scholars. The ceremony was presided over by Governor Mr. Mangubhai Patel. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was present in the ceremony with dignity. On this occasion, Swami Shri Govinddev Giriji Maharaj, Treasurer of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust Ayodhya was present as Saraswat guest. MP Shri Anil Ferozia, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism, Religious Trust and Endowments Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Employment Shri Gautam Tetwal were also present on the stage.
Vice President Shri Dhankhar said that the immortal works of Mahakavi Kalidas wonderfully display human emotions and are always a source of inspiration for human values. A wonderful and unbreakable relationship between man and nature is seen in the works of Mahakavi Kalidas. Mahakavi Kalidas has given the message of environmental protection in his works which is always relevant. Taking inspiration from his timeless works like Meghduttam, we have to save our earth. Serious efforts will have to be made towards environmental protection, climate protection, because there is no other earth available to live on.
Vice President Shri Dhankhar praised the event and said that the All India Kalidas Festival is a symbol of our cultural heritage. The Madhya Pradesh government and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav deserve praise for this dignified event. The state government is making a significant contribution in the preservation of art, literature and culture.
The Vice President called for preserving the cultural heritage of the country and said that we will always have to take care of our cultural heritage and heritage. The cultural heritage of the country is very ancient, the roots of our culture are very deep which tell the purpose of life. The Vice President, in his address, emphasized on family management and said that by paying attention to family management, the focus of the nation will also always remain in our minds. We will always have to be serious about the character and moral development of our children. Our children should become good citizens, along with nation building, they should discharge their duties completely. We all have to discharge our civic responsibilities together. Indianness is our identity, the nation is supreme, for this every citizen will have to sacrifice himself while discharging civic duties. Referring to women empowerment, the Vice President said that the works of Mahakavi Kalidas are an important example of women empowerment. His work Abhigyan Shakuntalam can be seen as a reference.
Vice President Mr. Dhankhar said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, today every person in the country has the opportunity to showcase his talent. The development of technology in the country is surprising the whole world. For environmental protection, the Prime Minister has launched the campaign “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. This campaign will bring the same revolution as has come in the field of cleanliness. In the coming year 2047, our India will become the leader of the world.
Congratulating the talents who have been awarded the All India Kalidas Samman in the program, the Vice President said that these talented people are doing an excellent job of preserving and displaying the best elements of our culture. Throwing light on the mythological, spiritual, religious importance of Avantika city, the Vice President said that Lord Shri Krishna has received education in Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain. Kalidas and Bhrithari have got the light of knowledge here. Ujjain is an ideal example of the world famous justice of Emperor Vikramaditya. The Vice President said that he himself is blessed to have come to Ujjain. I will cherish the wonderful experience I got here for the rest of my life, I have got a new energy from here.
Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel said that Vice President Shri Dhankhar is heartily welcomed in Ujjain, the center of spiritual consciousness. His presence has given more grandeur to the event. The Governor said that through the All India Kalidas Festival, a commendable effort is being made to present the great works and cultural heritage of Mahakavi Kalidas on the world stage.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the All India Kalidas Festival has been organized in Ujjain as an important glorious tradition. Today, in this festival, the talents of various fields who were honored with the prestigious ‘Kalidas Samaroh’ have been honored with the prestigious ‘Kalidas Samaroh’.
