Maha Kumbh 2025: Before the major bathing rituals kick off at the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, a breathtaking and surreal scene has already captivated everyone. Manoj Kumar Singh, the Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, mentioned that around 35 crore devotees are expected to participate in this 45-day grand event taking place at the Sangam (the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers).
The state has allocated a budget of about ₹7,000 crore for the Maha Kumbh. The previous Kumbh was known for its cleanliness, and this time, the focus is on cleanliness, safety, and a digital experience. There are six key bathing dates when a larger crowd is anticipated.
