Madhya Pradesh will become a Global Wellness Center: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said in the “ Spiritual and Wellness Summit ” in Ujjain that inspired by the visionary ideas of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi like ” Heal India ” and ‘ Lifestyle ‘ (LiFE), Madhya Pradesh is being made a global center of holistic lifestyle and wellness innovation . Through the summit, the state has made it clear that it is fully prepared to lead India’s wellness mission. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav described the summit as a transformative initiative and said that here there is a confluence of policy , investment , spirituality and social welfare. He said that Madhya Pradesh is now ready to become the global engine of India’s wellness mission . Chief Minister Dr. Yadav held 14 one-to-one meetings with investors of wellness and hospitality sector in the summit , in which basic needs , investment supporting policies and priorities were discussed. Investment proposals worth more than Rs 1929 crore were received in the summit.   Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that it is a happy coincidence that World Environment Day and Ganga Dussehra are falling on the same day. On this occasion, the ‘ Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam ‘ campaign has been relaunched in the state. Under this campaign, 5 crore saplings have been planted in the state.

While talking to the media, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that his government is working rapidly for employment generation. The intention behind setting up big centres of all medical systems at religious places is that people from all over the world should get health as well as spirituality. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in the Regional Industry Conclave held at all divisional headquarters last year and the Global Investors Summit held in February under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, investment proposals worth Rs 30 lakh crore were received, there is also a possibility of creation of 21 lakh 75 thousand jobs here. He said that we have declared 2025 as the Industry Year and sector-wise summits are being organized continuously. He said that apart from the Agri Summit in Mandsaur and Narsinghpur, the IT Summit in Indore has brought good results.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Niti Ayog has recognized the state as a leader among the fast-growing states. Due to surplus electricity, excellent infrastructure and new policies in Madhya Pradesh, investors have turned to this place. He also mentioned about giving a grant of Rs 5000 crore to MSME and other industries as per the declared policy.      Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh guarantees stability and success to investors with clear policy , competent administration and strong leadership. He urged all wellness entrepreneurs and institutions to invest in the state and start from Ujjain. He said , “ Come to Madhya Pradesh , and become a partner in the journey to make India a world leader. ” An agreement was signed between NIPR Ahmedabad and MPIDC at the summit , under which Ujjain Medical Device Park will receive technical and educational assistance. This park will be developed as a testing and certification hub.

Investment proposals were received at the summit from Shivinder Singh Founder EraHospitality, Mukund Prasad Director LeisureHotelsGroup, Ashok Patel Chairman Travelpack, Sharad Thadani MD MayfairTravels and Sudhir MV CAO Jindal Naturocare Institute. Swami Chidanand Saraswati of Parmarth Niketan Rishikesh delivered a spiritual address and handed over a letter of intent (LOI ) to the state government for setting up a centre in Ujjain . Representatives from Leisure Hotels , Shatayu Ayurveda and Bhandari Group described Madhya Pradesh as a suitable destination for wellness investment. The major investment proposals include those from Bhandari Group – Rs 984 crore, Amaltas Group – Rs 400 crore, CHL Hospital Group – Rs 200 crore, Latent Devcon , Labham Group , Shathayu Ayurveda , Royal Orchid , Shantigiri Ashram , Jindal Group and other investors. Vision roadmap prepared in panel discussion Two panel sessions were organized in the summit , in which topics like wellness infrastructure , Simhastha based medical tourism , employment generation , and skill development were discussed. In the main session, the state’s overall roadmap in wellness visioning was presented.
