Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to implement the “e-summons” system: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that on the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai, a cabinet meeting was organized at Maheshwar, the capital of the Holkar rulers, on the banks of Maa Narmada. Be it Devi Ahilya Mata or Rani Durgavati, both presented unique examples of women empowerment while fighting against foreign invaders and establishing good governance. As per the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, important decisions are proposed in the cabinet meeting on the subject of women policy under the system based on the four pillars of poor, youth, food provider and women empowerment. Alcohol is a social evil, it creates problems at the family level as well as many types of problems in the society, in the interest of family and society, a decision is being taken regarding prohibition of alcohol in 19 religious towns and gram panchayats. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the members of the Council of Ministers before the meeting of the Council of Ministers.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was a renowned legal expert. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Social Science University established in his birthplace Mhow will also be developed as a Center of Excellence. There is also a proposal of Rs 25 crore for infrastructure for the purpose of setting up a law faculty in the university. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that the bridge inaugurated on 23 January in Bhopal has been named after Dr. Ambedkar.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the implementation of three new criminal laws, Madhya Pradesh implemented the “e-summons” system for the first time in the country. In the meeting held in New Delhi by Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah regarding the implementation of the new criminal law, Madhya Pradesh was praised as a leading and ideal state in terms of implementation of new laws. This system will save time and resources of the police force. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the prisoners will participate in the judicial process from the cubicles present in the jail. Such arrangements are being made that they do not have to go to the court. Similarly, arrangements are being made for the doctors to record their statements from the hospital itself. These innovations will facilitate the police force in many procedural works and will save about 30% of the work and time of the police. The state government will review the progress by holding a meeting every month to implement it on priority within the time limit.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also gave information about the interactive session held in Pune last day with industry groups and investors for the Global Investor Summit to be held in Bhopal on 24-25 February in the presence of Prime Minister Shri Modi.
