Bhopal: Addressing the students who had come from the northeastern states on Bharat Ekta Yatra, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh reflects the unity and integrity of the country not only geographically but also culturally. Highlighting the cultural heritage of the state and the spirit of patriotism, he inspired the students to respect this diversity and imbibe Indian culture. He said that the culture of Madhya Pradesh is famous for its unique diversity and rich traditions. People of different provinces, classes and languages live here in harmony. Madhya Pradesh is the carrier of the glorious history and culture of the country, which cherishes the values of patriotism, national defense and honor.
The student group from the North-Eastern states, who came on the National Ekatma Yatra-2025 organised by Student Experience in Inter-State Living (SEIL) for the purpose of cultural exchange, was given a warm welcome in Madhya Pradesh. This yatra started from 22 January and is continuing till 13 February, in which the students from North-East are visiting different parts of the country.
This group of students from northeastern states is on a tour of Madhya Pradesh from 1 to 5 February. This group of students made a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav at the Chief Minister’s residence on Monday. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav listened to the experiences of the students, resolved their queries and introduced them to Madhya Pradesh’s culture full of harmony and harmony. The Chief Minister welcomed all the students to Madhya Pradesh, the heartland of the country, and wished them well. Bhopal is famous for its lakes and natural beauty. This is such a unique capital of the country, where tigers can also be seen on the roadside at night, because Ratapani forest sanctuary is located near Bhopal city. The Chief Minister suggested the students to definitely visit the Tribal Museum, Manav Sangrahalaya, Van Vihar and other tourist places.
After taking a group photo with the Chief Minister, the students called this visit an unforgettable experience of their life. The students said that this is the first time they have met the Chief Minister of a state. They will never forget this thrill. They especially appreciated the rich cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh, its historical places and hospitality.
The purpose of organizing the Inter-State Student Darshan Jeevan Yatra is to strengthen the unity and integrity of the nation, in which special efforts are being made to introduce the youth to the diversity of the country. Rashtriya Ekta Yatra is an important initiative towards uniting the Indian youth and increasing the feeling of mutual understanding and brotherhood among them. In this student group from the North-Eastern states, a total of 30 participants including 28 students and 2 coordinators are on a tour of various states of India. Among them, two students each have come from Assam, Nagaland and Sikkim states, four each from Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh and five each from Manipur and Meghalaya states.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented a shawl, Madhya Pradesh government diary, calendar and a special gift as a souvenir to all the students and coordinators. Mr. Shivam Jat, Mr. Chetas Sukhadia, Mr. Rohit Dubey, Mr. Deepak Paliwal, Mr. Kaman Siboh, Mr. Rahul Mog along with other students and citizens were present in the program.
