Madhya Pradesh government is committed to women empowerment: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that along with Madhya Pradesh, the entire country is celebrating the 300th birth anniversary of Lokmata Ahilya Bai Holkar and our government is continuously working towards women’s self-reliance and empowerment. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Self-Help Group Conference in Sarni of Betul district on Wednesday. Here he inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth more than Rs 464 crore and released the booklet “Vikas ke Path Par Agrasabha” focused on the development of Betul. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav distributed letters of interest to invest worth Rs 8 crore 10 lakh in start-up companies to women of 4 self-help groups under the Self-Help Group to Start-up Campaign.

While hailing Mathar Dev Baba and Maa Tapti, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Sarani of Betul district has a unique glory, in true sense the beauty of the earth is present in Sarani. Sarani filled the entire state with energy and took the caravan of development forward, due to which Madhya Pradesh shone. The coal reserves of Sarani are like gold. Betul district has received God’s blessings in abundance. With natural resources like coal reserves, origin of Maa Tapti, advanced agriculture etc., this tribal region is rapidly moving ahead on the path of development. The first food park of the state has been established in Betul district itself, which is an example of the service spirit of the local public representatives.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that today “I have come to Betul to meet my sisters”. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is committed to ensure that the shadow of sorrow never comes in the lives of sisters and their every wish is fulfilled. He said that the pride of the state, Maharani Durgavati of Gondwana, defeated the Mughal invaders in not one but 52 wars with her valor and valor. Even in her last war, Rani Durgavati did not accept slavery and made the state proud by sacrificing herself with her dagger. Such has been the golden history of the sisters of Madhya Pradesh. Similarly, the brave Rani of Jhansi also laid the foundation of the country’s independence by defeating the British.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the entire life of Lokmata Ahilyabai was dedicated to public welfare. She also presented a unique example of governance. She empowered the sisters economically. While ruling from Maheshwar, she called artisans from South India, Rameshwaram, Hyderabad, Bangalore and taught the art of making sarees to the sisters through weavers. Saree making factories were established due to which Maheshwari sarees are famous all over the world today. Queen Ahilyabai did amazing work of women empowerment by connecting the sisters with employment and self-employment. She also worked to build temples, ghats, food areas and dharamshalas in Banaras, Somnath, Badrinath and outside the state boundary, so that along with Dev Darshan, the unity and integrity of the country is also maintained.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government is adopting the ideals of Rani Ahilyabai and is continuously working for the welfare of sisters. An amount of Rs. 1250 is deposited in the accounts of Laadli sisters every month. Lakhpati Didi Abhiyan is going on so that the income of sisters exceeds one lakh in a year. More than 350 self-help groups are working in Lakhpati Didi Abhiyan. In the fully equipped readymade garments factory set up by the efforts of the Madhya Pradesh government, the sisters are receiving a total amount of Rs. 13 thousand per month – Rs. 5 thousand from the government and Rs. 8 thousand from the factory.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that along with the welfare of sisters, the Madhya Pradesh government is also providing quality education to children. Bicycles are being distributed to children and scooties are being distributed for excellent performance. If students need an amount of Rs. 1 lakh to 1 crore for higher education, the Madhya Pradesh government will provide it.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that when the terrorists dared to destroy the vermilion of our sisters, our army entered the houses of Pakistan and killed the terrorists. Our army destroyed the airports of Pakistan with valor and courage. If the terrorists repeat such an evil act, they will be killed by entering their houses, this is the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Modi. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also invited all the sisters present in the program to the program to be held in Bhopal on May 31 under the chief hospitality of Prime Minister Shri Modi.

Amla MLA Dr. Yogesh Pandagre has expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for approving three barrages and roads and bridges in Amla Assembly.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav observed the products manufactured by self-help groups

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the exhibition of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, M.P. State Urban Livelihood Mission, M.P. State Rural Livelihood Mission including Public Health Family Welfare, Forest. During this, he appreciated the handicraft products made by the creative Ladli sisters of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department under the SFURTI scheme of the Government of India.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav planted a peepal tree

Chief Minister Dr Yadav also planted a peepal tree under the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign at the venue of the self-help group conference, inauguration of various development works and bhoomi-pujan program in Sarni.

Union Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri Durgadas Uike, Minister of State for Public Health and Family Welfare and Minister in charge of the district Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel, MLAs Dr. Yogesh Pandagre, Shri Chandrashekhar Deshmukh, Shri Mahendra Singh Chauhan, Smt. Gangabai Uike, Vice President Jan Abhiyan Parishad Shri Mohan Nagar, District Panchayat President Shri Raja Pawar along with other dignitaries and a large number of women were present in the program.
