Maati Ke Veer Padyatra organised in Jashpur under the leadership of Union Minister Mandaviya and Chief Minister Sai

Raipur. Maati Ke Veer Padyatra was organised in Jashpur city today under the leadership of Union Minister of Labour and Employment and Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. The nearly seven kilometre long padyatra, which started from Balachappar in Jashpur, reached Ranjita Stadium via various squares, intersections and routes. Its objective is to tell and honour the heritage of tribal communities and their important contribution to the development of the country to the country and the world on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Dharti Aaba Bhagwan Birsa Munda. There was tremendous enthusiasm among the people about Maati Ke Veer Padyatra. Beautiful rangolis and artworks were made at various places to welcome and honour the people involved in the padyatra. An exhibition of ancient arms and musical instruments of tribal communities was organised at Gamhariya Chowk. Songs and dances were performed by tribal dance troupes during the padyatra.

The padyatra that started from Balachappar of Jashpur city, passed through various routes and squares and reached Ranjita Stadium, the heart of the city. This padyatra was given a grand welcome at various places in the entire Jashpur city. Flowers were showered on the people participating in the padyatra. Artists of the tribal dance troupe from Kilepal of Bastar performed Kaksar dance in the padyatra. During the padyatra, people from various societies and organizations welcomed and honored the padyatras at various places.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw, Tribal Welfare Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Finance Minister and Minister in charge of Jashpur district Shri O.P. Choudhary, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Mr. Tank Ram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Laxmi Rajwade, MPs Mr. Radheshyam Rathia and Mr. Chintamani Maharaj, MLAs Mrs. Gomti Sai, Mrs. Raimuni Bhagat, Mr. Ram Kumar Toppo, Mr. Sushant Shukla, State Women’s Commission member Mrs. Priyambada Singh Judeo, along with Mr. Prabal Pratap Singh Judeo, Mr. Ranvijay Singh Judeo along with other public representatives, eminent citizens and more than ten thousand volunteers associated with My Bharat also participated.
