As December begins, people are facing another blow with rising gas cylinder prices. Today, oil companies announced an increase in the prices of LPG cylinders. Every month, government oil companies review LPG cylinder prices on the first day. The Indian Oil Corporation has confirmed this price hike. The good news is that the prices for domestic gas cylinders remain unchanged. The price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has gone up, while the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder prices have stayed stable for several months.Specifically, the price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased by ₹16.50, bringing the cost in Delhi to ₹1,818.50. It’s worth noting that last month, the price had already risen by ₹62, and in October, it was available for ₹1,740. This marks the fifth consecutive increase in the price of commercial LPG cylinders. As a result of this hike, we may see a rise in the prices of food and other essentials. Currently, the commercial cylinder prices are ₹1,927 in Kolkata, ₹1,771 in Mumbai, and ₹1,980 in Chennai.
