Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the holy festival of Dussehra brings forth the working style and ideals of Lord Shri Ram, in which he gave the message of taking the society along without any means. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this year’s Dussehra is more important because after 500 years of struggle, Lord Shri Ram is smiling in Ayodhya. In Madhya Pradesh, this year on Dussehra, weapon worship programs have been held across the state. We are remembering the public welfare works of Lokmata Ahilyadevi on Vijayadashami. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Dussehra festival of Arera Rajdhani Utsav Samiti in Bittan Market, Bhopal today.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our gods used to carry weapons along with the scriptures. They had started the tradition of weapon worship. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that by attending the weapon worship ceremony in Maheshwar, the city of Lokmata Devi Ahilya Bai, today, he remembered the works of Lokmata. Lokmata Ahilya Bai contributed to the construction and development of Kashi, Vishwanath, Dwarka and other Dev Sthans. She set ideal examples of good governance while working for the empowerment of women. She took important steps in the development of the cottage industry of Maheshwar. Today Maheshwari saree is world famous.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also saw a part of Ramleela presented by the artists on this occasion. He worshipped the form of Lord Shri Ram and did his coronation. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 46 continuous years of Vijayadashami festival celebrations are an example of the activeness of this committee. Late Shri Rameshchandra Agarwal had started this project. The tradition of celebrating Vijayadashami festival efficiently is being carried out by the committee.
